What is the Pantone Matching System?
The Pantone Matching System is a globally recognized, standardized color reproduction system. It ensures absolute color consistency across different materials, printers, and manufacturers, making it essential for branding, graphic design, and fashion.
Why do Pantone colors look different?
Digital screens emit light in RGB, whereas physical Pantone swatches reflect light as ink. Screen calibration, brightness, and display technology (OLED vs IPS) all cause visual variances.
How do I find the Hex for a Pantone color?
You can use the search bar at the top of this board to search for any specific Pantone ID (e.g., "7463 C"). Selecting the color card will immediately reveal its closest Hex, RGB, and CMYK values in this properties panel.
